Date posted: 28 May 2012 29 June 2012 QEII London Teaching and Learning Excellence If you're interested in teaching and learning, inspection or are going to be delivering Functional Skills why not join us at our National Teaching and Learning Fair? We will be looking at what constitutes excellence in teaching and learning and Lorna Fitzjohn, HMI Ofsted, will be speaking about the new inspection framework. We have a number of workshops available including one presenting the latest resources to support you in delivering Functional Skills. You'll also hear from our fantastic keynote speakers: Baroness Susan Greenfield, neuroscientist, writer and broadcaster will focus on the science behind learning and debunking myths. Fintan Donohue, Principal and Chief Executive of North Hertfordshire College, will be speaking about developing entrepreneurial skills in learners and the importance of entrepreneurship at all levels. David Hughes, Chief Executive NIACE, will look at the importance of learning from an adult learning perspective. Frank McLoughlin CBE , Principal of City and Islington College and Chair of the independent commission on Adult Vocational Teaching and Learning will explore issues relating to vocational education, teaching and learning. This is a great opportunity to learn about learning through sharing effective practice with peers and colleagues. |
