The BBC have just launched a brand new topic in Skillswise English, using reading for pleasure as a way into reading.

Watch inspiring stories from adult learners in this one-minute video and check out new resources, available from Entry Level 1 & 2 to Level 1.

These include useful factsheets and worksheets around reading online and finding books to suit the individual, and several resources that you can use alongside Quick Reads, short, easy-to-read books by well-known authors, including Doctor Who: Magic of the Angels by Jacqueline Rayner.
