The main aim of this report, written by NRDC for Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK), was to establish the size of the adult literacy, numeracy and ESOL teaching workforce and the extent to which they were fully qualified to teach one of the three subject specialisms: literacy, numeracy and ESOL.
